We pull together

It's a good community of Japanese people here in Steveston. We pull together. And when new members of our community arrive from Japan, we share our capital. We help the new fishermen get started - we can offer each man a completely outfitted fishing boat. That way, he can get started in Canada and start giving back to our community.
