It Stinks!

It smells today! I can't believe how much it smells! Must be all the dead fish – they're everywhere! I see them floating on the river; washed up on the dykes. Or maybe it's the sewage. Dad said some of the ditches carry sewer waste, not water. Dead fish and sewage. Maybe school starting soon won't be so bad after all. I'm gonna walk to school... then I can sell my tram tickets to those high school students who don't get any tickets. And then I can buy candy!
