Fishing With My Father

Fishing With My Father

I learned a trade - learned to be a shoemaker. But I couldn't find work in Vancouver and didn't really like making shoes very much. So then I went fishing with my father instead. Fishermen don't get paid so much but I like it better. We used to fish in a skiff, but now we've got ourselves a round-bottomed sailboat instead. My father! He's so strong that he used to be able to outrow two Japanese in one boat!
