It's a confusing time

I heard that there's gonna be a meeting of Steveston residents. It's gonna be a meeting to protest the decision of the Canadian government to intern the Japanese and take away their belongings.

I think I should go. It's a confusing time.They were our friends. And it's such a mess that was made of all their boats. They're fishermen too - just like me.

I've always had my own boat... what if the government decides to take my boat away? What would I do then? I hope someone would protest for me.
