I have a small garden.

Even though I live in the cannery house where it's cold and we burn wood in our stoves to keep warm, I have a small garden. It's in an old row boat that I filled up with earth.

I grow oriental vegetables. I grow nappa and tikung. Japanese turnips and Japanese greens.

Then I can eat what I want – my own vegetables make everything taste better!
