No work at the cannery today

No work at the cannery today. I wonder if I can dig ditches or work for a farmer instead. There are lots of ditches that need digging and the farmers don't seem to want to do it themselves. I need the work! My debts won't just go away! And if there is no work, then I’ll go find a quiet place to relax in the sun. Tomorrow’s another day.
